So I realize I've never really drawn anything Harry Potter-related, which is a crying shame because Harry Potter is literally my entire childhood (I was introduced to it in 3rd grade, and have loved it ever since).

Have a Dumbledore and Mcgonagall because I like drawing old people. :'D

Hahaha! Maybe we ARE the same person - I haven't ever really done Harry Potter fanart either, but it's seriously been one of the biggest influences of my childhood growing up. (Although, I don't believe in saying my childhood is over now that it's done. When Peter Pan grows up, that might happen.)

Dumbledore's nose. I love it. So much.

your childhood isn't over until you reach Nicholas Flamel's age ;)

I wonder what they're talking about.
"Hear about what Potter did again?"
"He's a growing boy, Minerva, they will always get into trouble."

You like drawing old people? Could you give me instructions? ^^ I fail everytime I try.
And I like your drawing.

Old people just have so much character! I dunno... it's like their life experiences, happy and sad, just pile up on their face in the shape of a new wrinkle. Happy people have happy wrinkles, sad people sort of droop. Just practice, I guess? Thanks xD

Normally I don't comment on someone else's comment string, but your quote above sums up my thoughts on drawing older subjects absolutely perfectly, they have so much character in their appearance and everything they do. They have lived through enough to develop genuine quirks, and it's a pity shallow ageism prevents many people from appreciating that.

Great drawing! :D
...now that I think about it, I think we're in the same boat; I was introduced to Harry Potter in the 2nd grade, it's been pretty much my entire childhood too, and yet I've never really drawn Harry Potter art either. :XD: Funny lil' world, innit?
