a really messy WIP of the moment right before George introduces himself to Alanna and Gary, who are exploring the port.

I need to do a LOT more research on what Port Caynn should look like, as well as clothing/etc there. I was trying to go more for the general feel. This was a color test more than anything. Sorry about the wonky perspective too.

I do have a question - how do you guys picture Gary? He's one of those characters I have absolutely no mental image of.

Gary should be more bookish type, I mean he carries ALL of his documents with him to council meetings to save time and he quotes law...

Comparing this and your other things with Alanna and George (and Neal and Kel) I have to say you do a really good job of showing the same characters at different ages.

Even though this is just a WIP, I think I'm going to go ahead and favorite it. You captured the feel of a sunny afternoon really well, and there's a real sense of them being out and about in a big space.
